Just a thought, but wouldn't it better if you separate the tools from the base character animation itself? 

For example, instead of having Pickaxe animation taking out the whole spritesheet on its own, you take the Pickaxe item out to another 4x5 spritesheet, and the character only have that mining-like hand swinging animation. This way I could reuse that animation for other thing, for example using Hoe.

Same with Sword animation. You extract the sword item on its own 4 direction animation, and the base character only have that "swinging-like" hand animation. Of which, later on, I could reuse it if I have scythe item by putting it on a new layer.  

Because the motions of your hands when you are using pickaxe, hoe, axe, (or any tools that you swing it vertically) basically the same. Same with sword or scythe (or any tools that you swing it horizontally), since they should share the same slashing motion. 

This will make it easier if we want to have different colors for our tools since we dont need to touch any thing but the tool spritesheet itself

Yes I get what you mean. I'm actually including a separate sprite sheet with only tools this time. So then you can edit the tool and put it on top. 
Since I already finished all the animations now I will not include a version without tool. But good to know for next time!

Any idea how long you got left on the sword and axe animation?

No but it might take a while. First is the last update on Cozy Farm, then I have commissions and after that I will start working on the updates here.

How about Hoe animations? I think it's important animation for farming, next to watering

Yes that's a good idea! I will definitely include the animations first, then the hairstyles/outfits. I also decided to include a fishing animation. 

For each added animation it will be an extra row for each hairstyle/ clothing option, so I'm not sure when all the animations will be done. Maybe you can use the pickaxe animation as a placeholder for now?

Yeah that's what I'm planning to use, because it should be the same motion, but using different tool

Do you have plan to add bow attack animation as well?

Awesome!! I love your style! I'm planning to make a farming sim with your cozy packs. Do you think you could add two animations: Cast fishing pole and using a hoe? That would be superb :-)

Thanks! For now these animations are not planned, as I have open updates on Cozy Farm and Cozy People. Doesn't mean I will never include those, just not for now.

Hey, I decided to include a fishing animation but I have a question about it.
When making a fishing animation will the dev attach the line in their engine? I'm asking because in a lot of games you can charge up how far you cast the line. So I would include a separate sprite for the bobber.
The other option would be to have a set cast, but that doesn't seem right to me

Hey! That's awesome. Yes you shouldn't include a line so that devs can add in-engine depending on how they want to setup their fishing system.

I've already started on this asset pack and have a working farming system, if you want to check it out sometime :)

I have been waiting for DAYS! Thanks for all the work, is there any plans for maybe a monster pack? Even if it costs a little more? Maybe release a sword, shield, bow with them? 

A sword animation will be included in this pack. Monsters I didn't really consider because there's a bat, ghost and slime in Cozy Farm. What type of monster were you thinking about?

An easy adaptation to the current characters would be a goblin, maybe longer ears on a shorter character, a skeleton may not be hard to make either. You're the artist, I'm just the consumer and I can't wait to get some more of your styled art. the style and simplicity it's great!
